Smart, Responsible Growth Means:
-Fully funding public safety based on projected needs
-Supporting infrastructure expansion, including roads and utilities
-Maintaining competitive tax rates
-Attracting industries to support the growth
-Balancing the growth with maintaining our small town sense of community

In his short time as a county commissioner, Alex has:

-Listened to the needs and concerns of county residents and employees -Championed full implementation of the wage and market study for County Employees and Sheriff's Department Employees
-Advocated for the expansion of technology in county departments
-Set-up regular office hours
-Provided multiple lines of communication

To continue guiding the county towards smart, responsible growth, as commissioner, Alex will:
-Continue listening to feedback from stake holders
-Continue to carefully consider how each decision will impact the future of Barrow County
-Hold regular meetings with citizens to listen to questions and concerns from citizens and provide updates on county business
